TARS

성우는 빌 어윈(Bill Irwin). 인듀어런스 호의 네비게이터 로봇, 성격은 냉소적이나 유머감각이 75% 풍부하다.

쿠퍼와의 첫대면에서 보인 고압적인 모습과는 달리 기본적으로 인간을 위해 종사하도록 프로그래밍 되어 있어서 정이 많은 성격으로 느껴진다.

마지막에도 쿠퍼와 함께 블랙홀에 들어가며 블랙홀이 사라진 후, 쿠퍼와 함께 토성 궤도 근처에서 발견된다.

이후 쿠퍼의 기념관에 보관되어 있다가 쿠퍼가 다시 재기동 시켜줬으며 그가 브랜드를 찾으러 떠날때 함께 가게 된다.

 

TARS first encountered Cooper when he stumbled upon NASA HQ in Colorado. TARS interrogated Cooper until Brand arrived to relieve him. 

TARS spent 23 years maintaining the Endurance along with Romilly. As a cruel twist of fate he was also witness to the death of Romilly when a booby trapped KIPP exploded, killing him.

 

TARS was then flung into the Gargantua black hole to collect the quantum data that could save humanity by solving gravity. He is lost inside the tessaract along with Cooper. They are both discovered by the Rangers floating in space after their encounter with the bulk beings.

TARS and Cooper set out to find Brand on Edmunds after they steal a next gen Ranger spacecraft.

 

With this, TARS is one of the four surviving crew members from the Endurance, along with Cooper, Brand, and twin robot CASE.
